Visitors are Welcome.
Garland Farm, nestled in the North Georgia mountains, is home to our growing herd of alpacas. Here the alpacas enjoy rolling hillsides, green valleys, mountain streams, and peaceful tranquility that is just a step away from heaven!
Garland Farm is located in Dahlonega, Georgia one hour north of Atlanta and is easily accessed from I-75, I-85 or I-285 via Georgia Highway 400. The historic town of Dahlonega provides a quaint, turn of the century backdrop for Garland Farm. In Dahlonega, you can shop in the many stores surrounding the historic town square, visit the Gold Museum and learn about America's first gold rush, enjoy wonderful cuisine, listen to authentic Bluegrass mountain music, visit one of several wineries, pan for gold, relax at nearby Amicalola Falls (the highest waterfall in the Eastern U.S.), stay in a charming bed & breakfast or just enjoy driving through the beautiful North Georgia mountains.
Whether you are just beginning to look into alpacas or are looking to add that special alpaca to your herd we would love to meet you. We invite you to visit Garland Farm, see our alpacas and enjoy some Southern hospitality.
